How to Make Your Own Fruit Bouquet, A Lesson in the Artistry of Food

Edible fruit bouquets are a fun and different way to serve fruit to friends and family. It is a big crowd pleaser, and makes a great gift too! With the right tools and a little practice, whipping up a fruit bouquet can also be simple and straightforward. We will demonstrate how to carve, shape and prepare various types of fruits and place them on wooden skewers, and then everyone will get a chance to be creative and design their own masterpiece with their choice of fruit. Everyone will take their arrangement home.

After finishing the culinary arts certificate program at the Center for Kosher Culinary Arts (CKCA), Elizabeth began working at the Brooklyn-based culinary school, which is the only Glatt Kosher culinary school in America. When she is not crafting weekly recipes for the CKCA newsletter or managing CKCA’s social media presence, Elizabeth is hard at work writing her own first cookbook, and giving classes primarily on garde manger (cold food preparations) including fruit and vegetable carving, salad making, and plating design and presentation. Elizabeth and her husband Alexander live in Bergenfield, New Jersey with their twin daughters, Tziporah and Hannah.
