The Metropolitan Campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University in Hackensack fields 19 NCAA Division I Athletic Teams including the men’s basketball team that won the 2016 Northeast Conference Championship and earned a trip to the NCAA Tournament in Dayton, Ohio. Our women’s basketball team also qualified for postseason play last year, reaching the quarterfinals of the NEC Tournament.

This year, our FDU men’s basketball team has been picked to finish first in the NEC Preseason Poll and is already off to a 6-1 start to conference play.

With all of this in mind, we would like to personally invite you to attend our men’s and women’s basketball doubleheader against longtime Metropolitan Area rival LIU Brooklyn on Saturday, January 21. The games are played at the Rothman Center just across the river on the Hackensack side of campus.

The women’s game will begin at 2 p.m. with the men’s game starting at approximately 4 p.m. Throughout both games the Teaneck High School Marching Band will provide musical entertainment.

As our guests, admission to the game will be complimentary with a valid ID showing that you reside in Teaneck.

FDU Athletics takes pride in being a member of the Bergen County Community, and we do look forward to seeing you on campus for the game.

Sincerely,

David Langford, Teaneck Resident

Director of Athletics
