Halloween Candy Give Back at East Madison Dental
Local Dentist Asks You to Share Your Sweets this Halloween – Give Back Your Candy and Support a Soldier

This Halloween, trick-or-treaters can bring their excess candy to East Madison Dental to be shipped to US soldiers overseas. The first 50 families will receive a free spinbrush toothbrush. Dr. Jain and his staff have joined the movement to reduce gingivitis and anti-decay by giving away toothbrushes in exchange for cavity-provoking candy. “This is a great way to reduce high sugar intake at Halloween while giving back to US soldiers. We are excited to be able to provide this service to the community,” noted Office Manager Daniel Tise.
Global sugar consumption for kids increases by about 2% annually and currently sits at 50 million tons per year, which means parents need to be sure their kids’ teeth are being cared for more than ever. Candy, as well as hurting children’s teeth, can lead to hyperactivity and weight gain. In some cases, the wrong types of candy can also lead to broken and damaged braces. Candy will be collected at the East Madison Dental Office from October 31 to November 5 during office hours. The candy will then be shipped to troops overseas. Each child is eligible to receive. The first 50 families to donate their candy will receive a free spinbrush toothbrush. Plus, we will provide paper and writing utensils for anyone that would like to create a letter for our service members. Dr. Jain is the lead dentist at East Madison Dental, which emphasizes state-of-the-art dentistry in a warm atmosphere. Dr. Jain and his staff work hard to raise public awareness of the benefits of healthy eating and great dental hygiene.
