Teaneck Community Chorus is holding auditions for Chess, the Musical in Concert
Auditions to be held Saturday, March 19 at 10 am and Tuesday, March 22 at 7:30 pm at Teaneck High School Choir Room
The Teaneck Community Chorus will present CHESS the Musical in Concert on May 13, 14, and 15, 2016. This will be a staged concert with book-in-hand. Auditions for principal roles will be held on Saturday, March 19, at 10:00 am and Tuesday, March 22, at 7:30 pm at Teaneck High School. Please prepare 32 bars of an appropriate song. Singing from the score is encouraged, but not necessary. Principal rehearsals will begin in April.
Various smaller roles (Reporters, Diplomats, Mayor, etc.) will be filled from the Ensemble. The Ensemble rehearses Sunday evenings from 7:00pm–9:00pm at the Teaneck Ethical Culture Society. These are the only ensemble rehearsals until production week. Auditions for the Ensemble will be held every Sunday in March at 7:00pm at Ethical Culture. Please contact Steven Bell for specifics.
