Teaneck Community Chorus Spring Concert!
TEANECK COMMUNITY CHORUS PRESENTS "FOREVER YOUNG" CONCERT Sunday, May 17 at 3 pm at Teaneck High School

The Teaneck Community Chorus, under the direction of Steve Bell, Artistic Director, will present its annual Spring Concert on Sunday, May 17 at 3 pm at Teaneck High School. The concert theme, “Forever Young,” captures the uplifting spirit of youth at every age. TCC will celebrate the diversity of the generations by welcoming the Young Voices of Teaneck, a choir made up of children’s voices from the elementary, middle and high schools in Teaneck.
The concert will feature Teaneck’s legendary Bob McGrath leading The Young Voices of Teaneck as well as a performance by the 2014 Teaneck Teen Idol, Atara Schulhof from My’ayanot Yeshiva High School. In addition, the Teaneck Community Chorus will sing a number of delightful songs from “Teach Your Children Well” and Bob Dylan’s “Forever Young” to the Beatles’ “When I’m Sixty Four.” “We know the audience will enjoy the songs as much as we love performing them,” said Pam Zeldin, President of the Teaneck Community Chorus.
As part of its community mission, the Chorus is proud to be partnering in a clothing drive with the Bergen County Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. It will help aid their community service project of collecting packaged clothing for local families and individuals in need. Those attending the concert are asked to bring new, packaged t-shirts, socks or underwear for adults to be distributed by the Sorority and local agencies. Sorority members will be volunteer ushers for the concert as well!
