Teaneck International Film Festival Is Going On Until Sunday
Documentaries on abortion rights, gun control, and comedy and films for kids and people of all ages will be shown throughout the weekend.

TEANECK, N.J. — The annual Teaneck International Film Festival is underway and features a wide variety of movies and documentaries exploring several subjects.
Some of the highlights include:
- "Making a Killing: Guns, Greed, and the NRA." This documentary features personal stories from people across the country who have been affected by gun violence, including survivors and victims' families. State Senator Loretta Weinberg and producer Tara Kelton, and Kate Ranta, a survivor, will talk after the documentary. Sunday, Nov. 6 at 2:15 p.m. at Temple Emeth
- "The Last Laugh," a documentary examining whether it is ever acceptable to use humor in connection with tragedy.
- "Maya Angelou and Still I Rise," a documentary that reflects on how the events of history, culture, and the arts shaped Angelou's life.
There is also a free Kid Flix Mix, hosted by Bob McGrath of "Sesame Street" featuring the best animated and live action films from around the world. The mix is free at the Puffin Cultural Forum Sunday at 10:45 a.m.
