XPOARTE 2015, Opening Tuesday July 21st, 6:00PM

Every year, Club Colombia USA of Hackensack, New Jersey holds an outdoor festival celebrating the highlights of Colombia’s Independence- featuring live Colombian music and performances; face painting, games for kids; art crafts, delicious food, and more! This year the festival will be held on July 26, at Over Peck Park in Leonia, NJ beginning at 11:00 AM. See more information about it at www.clubcolombiausa.com

Also, the art exhibition, “Arts and Traditions”, will highlight our traditions and roots, showing how our Latin American identity evolved over time and passed from generation to generation.

The opening reception will be Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 6:00p.m at Bergen Community College Ciarco Learning Center, 355 Main Street, Hackensack NJ 07601 until 9:00 PM. Club Colombia USA of Hackensack’s mission is to keep alive the patriotic spirit of the Colombian community living in New Jersey, highlighting the value of national holidays and celebrating our historical and cultural tradition.

The Director and Curator of Art Club Colombia, Monica Chavarria, says: “This year, the Latin American artists present their best works where their cultural roots speak for itself, bearing witness to our traditions and perceptions of our Latin.
