Dodgeball Tournament Raising Funds For Toms River HS Military Club
The Toms River East Military Support Club is raising funds to build a ropes course that will be available to all of the schools.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Toms River East Military Support Club is hosting a Dodgeball Tournament of Champions in its quest to raise money to build a military-style ropes course at Toms River East.
The tournament is set for Friday, April 28 at the RWJ Barnabas Health Arena on Old Freehold Road.
The doors open at 5 p.m. and the tournament begins at 6 p.m. Players pay $15 each, and spectator tickets at the door are $6 for anyone 12 or older, $3 for children 11 or younger. Food will be available for purchase.

The tournament is double elimination.
The Toms River East Military Support Club helps students who are interested in careers in the military. The group began fundraising for the ropes course in the spring of 2022 and has gotten a boost from the Toms River Education Foundation, which contributed $4,000 to the effort.

This is the second dodgeball tournament held in Toms River. In 2019 the Toms River PBA held a dodgeball tournament at Toms River East to raise funds to support its Unity Tour riders.
