The Oceanaires, Ocean County's premier a capella, four-part harmony chorus, warmed the hearts and delighted the crowd last Saturday night, August 1st, on Washington Street at a guest performance at the Family Fun Night hosted by Toms River Downtown. The Chorus, founded in Toms River over seven decades ago, treated those attending to a repetoire of barbershop classics, and favorites from the American songbook, mesmerizing small children and grown-ups alike. A feeling of good will and unity was evident as the audience joined the Chorus in its concluding number, "God Bless America."

The Oceanaires will perform again on Washington Street October 9th at Flannel Shirt Night, also hosted by Toms River Downtown.
