• Man Sentenced In Speeding DUI Crash That Killed NJ Woman, Daughter (patch.com) — In Toms River, prosecutors announced a 20-year prison sentence for a drunk, speeding driver whose 2025 crash killed a Lakewood mother and her 11-year-old daughter and seriously injured another child. Authorities detailed his high blood alcohol level, prior DUI arrests, and the consecutive terms he must serve before facing immigration proceedings.
