Shot Fired Outside Seaside Heights Liquor Store: Police
Police are searching for two men who got into an argument with the clerk at Surf Liquors and then with two men outside the store on Monday.

SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ — Authorities are searching for two men after one of them fired a gun at two other men outside Surf Liquors on Monday evening, Seaside Heights police said Tuesday.
Police were called to Surf Liquors, 13 Boulevard, at 8:55 p.m. Monday, Detective Steve Korman said. The store clerk told police two men — described only as one white man and one black man — came into the liquor store and an argument ensued. During the argument, the black man showed he was carrying a handgun, the clerk told police.
The two men then left the store and got into an argument with two men outside the store, Korman said. That's when the shot was fired at the two outside the store, he said.

No one was hit or injured, Korman said, and nothing was taken from the store. He said detectives are still trying to sort out what happened in the store that resulted in the argument.
The two men with the gun then took off, running west on the 100 block of Dupont Avenue and then north onto Central Avenue.
