Want To Be In Law Enforcement? Take Upcoming Ocean County Test
Toms River, Island Heights, Seaside Heights, South Toms River and Beachwood are among the participating towns.
TOMS RIVER, NJ — The Ocean County Police Chiefs Association is hosting a countywide test for those interested in becoming a law enforcement officer.
The test is scheduled for Saturday, July 27, at Toms River High School North. It is being conducted jointly for 22 towns and the selection process for the Ocean County Police Academy alternate route certification program.
Not every town currently has vacancies but the test will be used for SLEO (Special Law Enforcement Officer) 1 and 2 positions, according to the flyer announcing the test.
