Woman Sentenced To 5 Years In Boyfriend's Stabbing Death In Toms River
Samantha A. Massimino must serve 85 percent of the term before she is eligible for parole in the death of Reinaldo Feliciano Jr. in 2020.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — A Toms River woman has been sentenced to five years in prison in the stabbing death of her boyfriend in 2020, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office announced.
Samantha A. Massimino, 36, was sentenced by Superior Court Judge Guy P. Ryan, to five years in state prison for manslaughter in the death of Reinaldo Feliciano Jr., 35, also of Toms River, on Oct. 24, 2020. The sentence is subject to the terms of the No Early Release Act, so Massimino will be required to serve at least 85 percent of her prison sentence before she is eligible for parole.
Massimino pled guilty to the charge before Ryan on May 1.

Toms River police found Feliciano with a stab wound to his leg when they answered a 911 call to a home about 4 a.m. on Oct. 24, 2020, authorities said. Feliciano was taken to Community Medical Center in Toms River but died of his injuries about 4:45 a.m.
Investigators learned Massimino and Feliciano had been in a relationship, and had gotten into an argument that night that turned physical. During the fight, Massimino grabbed a knife and later stabbed Feliciano in the leg.

Massimino was arrested at the scene and has been held at the Ocean County Jail since her arrest.
Supervising Assistant Prosecutor Jamie Schron handled the case. The Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime and Victim Witness Advocacy units, the Toms River Police Department and Detective Bureau, and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit investigated.
