The Vitamin Shoppe Opens its Doors on Route 23

The recent departure of left some residents wondering what would take its place at 1224 Route 23 North in Butler.

The answer: The Vitamin Shoppe.

Instead of videos, popcorn and candy, customers will now be able to grab nutritional products ranging from vitamins and minerals to nutritional supplements, herbs, sports nutrition formulas, homeopathic remedies and health and beauty products.

The store officially opened on July 10.

“As America's most trusted resource and leading health retailer of vitamins and nutritional supplements, The Vitamin Shoppe is committed to your healthy lifestyle,” Stephanie Garman of Allison & Partners Public Relations firm, which represents The Vitamin Shoppe, said in an email. “We have over 500 stores nationwide, with new openings planned every month.”

While some people may see this wide array of supplements, herbs and homeopathic remedies as a bit overwhelming at first sight, the store is equipped with a knowledgeable staff, dedicated to helping customers find the best product for their needs.

“At all of our stores, you'll find knowledgeable, courteous, and extensively trained Health Enthusiasts ready to help with all your health and wellness needs,” Garman explained.

Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
