Duo Indicted In October Vehicle Burglaries In Wall
The pair was caught with stolen items after the driver was stopped and arrested on a DWI charge, police said at the time.

FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, NJ -- Two people arrested in October in a string of car burglaries after the woman was stopped on suspicion of drunken driving have been indicted in the case, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.
Maurice A. Peace, 29, of Borden Avenue, Asbury Park, and Colleen M. Kamil, 30, of Potomac Court, Barnegat, were indicted on charges of burglary in five vehicle break-ins that occurred Oct. 17 in Wall.
They were arrested early on Sunday, Oct. 18 when Kamil, whose address was in Seaside Heights at the time, was pulled over for failure to maintain her lane on Allaire Road, police said at the time.

Kamil was charged with driving while intoxicated, and subsequent to her arrest, a number of items were found in the car that did not belong to either Kamil or Peace, who was a passenger in the car, Wall police said. The items were traced to vehicles that had been burglarized, they said.
Other indictments, dated March 15 and handed up by a Monmouth County grand jury sitting in Freehold Township that were released late last week by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office, include the following incidents taking place in or near Wall:

Annmarie Hawkins, 54, of Winding River Road, Brick, was indicted on a charge of passing a bad check worth more than $1,000 to Spring Lake Manor on Sept. 17 in Spring Lake.
Christian M. Roman, 26, of Harding Avenue, Brick, and Lesly Valentin, 30, of 3rd Avenue, Asbury Park, were indicted on charges of possession of heroin, possession with intent to distribute and distribution of heroin in a Nov. 18 incident in Wall. Additionally, Valentin was indicted on a charge of credit card theft.
