Internet Cat Video Festival Set For August

Yes, there's a film festival for everything.

The Internet Cat Video Film Festival is set to take place on August 30 in Minneapolis, Minn.

Katie Czarniecki Hill, an event organizer, said fans have until July 30 to nominate their favourite video clips to the festival.

"I could not be more excited to literally bring this solo cat video viewing behavior out in the open," Hill wrote in a blog post announcing the event.

"Some viewers (yours truly included) spend precious free time trolling the interwebs for hilarious 30-second clips of feline tomfoolery," Hill wrote.
