Fire Company's Flea Market Opens Sunday

Bargain hunters—get ready!

The annual flea market sponsored by will open for its 39th year, Sunday.

The popular market draws customers from April to December very year, with the $20 fee per table for vendors helping defray costs of running the fire company (the township owns the fire trucks, but the expenses of some of the fire fighting equipment, maintenance and costs of the operating fire station fall to the all-volunteer fire company).

The hours of the market are 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

Area bargain hunters have long known the market is a reliable source for discounted household items, tools, antiques and odds and ends. Some vendors specialize in selling new designer items at discounted prices, while others trade in used merchandise.

The market also offers food and refreshments.
