Glass Cow Captures Band Battle Title at First Night
Performs three original songs on way to winning First Night Morris event.
After performing for a crowd of 200 New Years Eve celebrants, Warren Township teen band Glass Cow was crowned winner of the first-ever, First Night Morris Battle of the bands.
“Voting was outstanding,” said Battle of the Bands event organizer Craig Schlosser, adding, “Each of the bands received more than 100 votes, and over 1,250 votes were received.”
Before announcing the winners, Schlosser also emphasized that the contest was one whose goal was to give young musicians an opportunity for some exposure in the media and a chance to develop as artists.
