NJ.com: Ex-prosecutor Awarded More Than $1 Million
Michelle D'Onofrio charged she was fired from prosecutor post in 2007 after filing complaint about former Municipal Court Judge Richard Sasso.
NJ.com is reporting a Morris County judge awarded former Municipal Prosecutor Michelle D'Onofrio $1,397,958, plus $1.2 million in legal fees, in her claim of beng wrongfully discharged after she filed a complaint with New Jersey's Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct regarding Municipal Judge Richard Sasso. D'Onofrio had charged Sasso was drunk in court and discriminated against women and minorities in the courtroom.
