The story, based on the bestselling book series, follows Millie Calloway, played by Sweeney, who takes jobs as a housemaid and ends up saving women who are being abused by their husbands.

"The Housemaid's Secret," also starring Kirsten Dunst and Paul Anthony Kelly, follows Millie after she takes a high-paying job cleaning at a Manhattan penthouse for a wealthy, successful couple. After being told she is never to interact with the wife, who is supposedly sick in a locked bedroom, Millie uncovers "secrets darker than her own."

The film is expected to release in 2027. Click here to read The Beacon's full report.
