Wayne Physician Joseph Zangara, MD, is Named Chilton Hospital’s First Recipient of the “Physicians We Admire” Award

 (Pompton Plains, NJ) – Joseph Zangara, MD, a gastroenterologist with a practice in Wayne, was named the recipient of Chilton Hospital’s first “Physicians We Admire” award. Dr. Zangara is a resident of Basking Ridge.  

 Dr. Zangara achieved an overwhelming level of recognition from staff that work with him almost daily in Chilton’s Endoscopy Suite. He has been in practice for 12 years and has been a member of the Chilton Hospital Medical Staff since September of 2001. 

The Physicians We Admire award was created to provide Chilton Hospital staff the opportunity to recognize physicians that embrace the organization’s five shared values on a daily basis: collaboration, ownership, excellence, compassion and innovation. The award winner is also one who leads the health care team in delivering high quality, safe, personalized patient care.
