Ex-Wayne Hills QB Kevin Olsen To Be Arraigned On Rape Charges Sept. 28
Olsen has been charged with 3 counts of forcible rape and assault after he allegedly punched and attacked a woman he was dating.

WAYNE, NJ — Former Wayne Hills quarterback Kevin Olsen, the son of legendary Hills coach Chris Olsen, will be arraigned on rape and assault charges next month.
Olsen will be arraigned in Mecklenburg County Superior Court in North Carolina Sept. 28 on three counts of second-degree rape, two counts of assault on a female and sexual offense, said Meghan McDonald, community liaison coordinator with the Mecklenburg County District Attorney's Office. The assault charges are misdemeanors.
Is expected Olsen will enter a plea at arraignment.

The charges stem from an incident Feb. 19 when he allegedly attacked a 23-year-old woman he was dating at his apartment.

Olsen reportedly threatened to strangle himself with a phone charger before assaulting the woman, The Charlotte Observer previously reported. Olsen argued with the woman, punched her in the face and assaulted her three times, according to the report.
The woman had scratches and vaginal bruises early the next morning when she went to hospital, a police report on the incident states.
Superior Court Judge Paige B. McThenia granted the alleged victim a restraining order against Olsen in March.
Olsen was one of the highest-rated quarterbacks of his high school class. He was rated as the No. 4 quarterback recruit by Scout.com and played in the Under Armour All-America Game.
Olsen is a former quarterback for the UNC Charlotte 49ers. Charlotte was his latest attempt at a collegiate comeback after he was dismissed from the University of Miami in 2014 following charges of drunk driving and possession a fake or stolen driver's license. He attended He never threw a pass for the Hurricanes. Olsen went to Townson University in Maryland but was dismissed due to disciplinary problems.
Olsen's legal troubles date back to Wayne Hills when he was charged with leaving the scene of an accident after he smashed his car into two vehicles and a tree in Wayne in 2013. A police report on the incident stated that Olsen’s face appeared to have blood on it and that he “appeared to be under the influence of something.”
Olsen helped his father Chris win state group titles as a sophomore and junior. He is younger brother of the NFL's Carolina Panthers Greg Olsen, a three-time Pro-Bowler.
