Kevin Olsen Denies '99%' Of What Was Brought Against Him In Rape Case: Report

Olsen has been charged with three counts of felony forcible rape involving a 23-year-old woman he was dating.

WAYNE, N.J. — Kevin Olsen denies 99 percent of what was read in court" regarding the rape case against him that could put him in prison for 30 years on three counts of felony forcible rape he has been charged with involving a 23-year-old woman he was dating.

Olsen, a former star quarterback at Wayne Hills High School, threatened to kill himself and the 23-year-old woman he was dating when they went out together Saturday night, prosecutors previously said in a Charlotte Observer report.

Olsen was also charged with forcible fondling, assault and intimidation.

Olsen, 22, and the woman went out for drinks and got separated, which is when Olsen sent her a text message threatening to kill her, the Observer reported.

Once back at Olsen's apartment, Olsen allegedly took a phone charger, threatened to kill himself, argued with the woman, punched her in the face and sexually assaulted her three times, the report said.

Olsen is the former quarterback at University of Miami and the younger brother of Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen and is still enrolled in UNC Charlotte, his third college. The school is investigating the charges filed against him.

Olsen was dismissed from the University of Miami after a DUI arrest and violating team rules. He was later dismissed from Towson University in Maryland for violating team rules.

Olsen was charged with leaving the scene of an accident after he smashed his car into two vehicles and a tree in Wayne in 2013. A police report on the incident stated that Olsen “appeared to be under the influence of something.”
