Kevin Olsen Due In Court On Rape Charges: Report
Olsen is accused of raping a girl he was dating three times and threatening to kill her.

WAYNE, N.J. — Kevin Olsen, the former star Wayne Hills quarterback charged with raping a woman he was dating, has two court hearings this week regarding the charges.
According to a report by the Charlotte Observer, a judge will decide Thursday whether to sign a permanent restraining order against Olsen, 22, requiring him to stay away from the alleged victim.
A probable cause hearing on the charges — including three counts of rape — is Friday, according to the report.

According to the report, the woman says in her restraining order request that Olsen threw her to the floor "and repeatedly punched her in the face and all over her body, and then raped her." Olsen also reportedly wrapped a phone charger around his neck and said he was going to kill himself.

Olsen also reportedly told the woman he was going to kill her while out on a date earlier on the night he allegedly raped her.
Olsen's attorney George Laughrun previously said his client denies "99 percent" of what was said about the incident in court.
Olsen was also charged with assault on a female, communicating threats and forcible fondling. He is free on $103,000 bond, according to reports. His bond stipulates that he is to have no contact with his accuser.
Olsen faces 10 years in prison on each rape charge. He is the brother of Carolina Panthers pro-bowler Greg Olsen, another Wayne Hills star. The brothers, along with their brother, Christian, played for their father, Chris, while at Hills.
Olsen is a former quarterback at Miami University and is still enrolled in UNC Charlotte, his third college. The school is investigating the charges filed against him.
Olsen was charged with leaving the scene of an accident after he smashed his car into two vehicles and a tree in Wayne in 2013. A police report on the incident stated that he “appeared to be under the influence of something.”
