UPDATE: Rep. Frelinghuysen Hosting Another Telephone Town Hall Meeting

BREAKING: 66,000 constituents will be randomly called Wednesday evening to participate in the congressman's second "teletown hall."

WAYNE, N.J. — Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen is holding his second "teletown hall" Wednesday night, robo-calling 66,000 people across two counties.

Frelinghuysen will be calling residents in Morris and Sussex Counties at 5:15 p.m. for the second in what his office is calling a "teletown hall." If you live in Passaic County, you can sign-up to receive the call here.

Last weeks "teletown hall" was the subject of much controversy for appearing to be unpublicized to residents. Only one journalist was on the call, who told Patch she was alerted to it by a friend.

Frelinghuysen has not held an in-person town hall since 2013, and local activist groups have taken to hosting their own in his absence.

Reporters received notice of this Wednesday's call around 12:20 p.m., and were provided a dial-in number.
