Wayne Board of Education To Present Return To School Proposal
Thursday's Board of Education meeting will include a presentation on what the fall semester may look like for Wayne Township students.
WAYNE, NJ — Wayne students are just a day away from learning what their return to school may look like this fall.
The Board of Education will discuss a return to school proposal at their Thursday meeting, according to both the meeting agenda and a tweet from Wayne Public Schools.
The meeting, scheduled for 7:30 p.m., will be hosted virtually via Zoom.

In a Wednesday letter to parents and guardians, the district announced the meeting, and added that the plan presented Thursday is not final.
"Note this is not a final plan, but a proposal with opportunities for public comment and feedback. A final plan will be submitted for approval after public comment and further revisions in early August," it read.

Also on the agenda for Thursday's meeting is a presentation of the disctrict's 2020-2021 goals.
Superintendent Mark Toback and Assistant Superintendent Donna Reichman will make both presentations, according to the agenda.
