Wayne Man Allegedly Kidnapped Girlfriend, Pulled Her Fingernails Off And Beat Her: Police

A Wayne man is accused of beating his girlfriend with a golf club and pulling her fingernails off while holding her captive in a Miami Beach apartment, police said.

Evan Xavier Little, 26, faces multiple charges, including false imprisonment, sexual battery against a victim who is physically helpless and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, a police report on the incident states.

Wayne Police issued warrants out for Little's arrest stemming from domestic violence incidents in 2015, but were unable to serve them, Detective Capt. Laurence Martin confirmed. Little lived on Dogwood Terrace in the Lionshead Lake section of town. The police report did not list a current address where Little is living.

Little became "enraged with the victim" because she had left her purse, which little gave to her, in an Uber in late January.

Little beat the alleged victim with a suitcase, beat her legs with a golf club, hit her "all over" with his fists and pulled her acrylic fingernails off of her with pliers in an apartment, the police report states.

Little also reportedly drugged the woman and had non-consensual sex with her, police said.

The woman tried to leave the apartment, but Little grabbed her by the hair and choked her, the police report states. Little also reportedly held a knife to her neck and threatened to hurt her if she tried leaving, police said.

The woman said she did not report the incident earlier because she feared for her safety, police said.

The woman had "visible bruising to her legs and scratches on her abdomen," police said.

Little denied the allegations brought against him after he was mirandized. He was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
