1 Dead, 6 Injured From Van Crash In South Jersey: Police
A woman succumbed to her injuries a day after the collision, authorities said.
DEPTFORD, NJ — A woman succumbed to her injuries following a van crash that hurt six others in Deptford Township, officials said.
State troopers responded at 7:25 a.m. Monday after a Ford van struck a tree. The vehicle was traveling south on the New Jersey Turnpike when it ran off the road, according to the preliminary investigation from State Police.
All seven of the van's occupants were injured. A passenger — Yugui Tang, 49, of Queens, New York — died from her injuries the following day, according to Tpr. Troy McNair.

Two people suffered serious injuries, two sustained moderate injuries and one had minor injuries. All injured parties were taken to a local hospital for medical evaluation.
The accident remains under investigation, with no further information available as of Friday, McNair said.
