Accused NJ Serial Killer Pleads Guilty To Murder Of Ex-Mentor: Report
Sean Lannon also faces murder charges in New Mexico, where he allegedly killed his ex-wife and four other people.

GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NJ — A South Jersey man accused of killing six people has admitted to bludgeoning his former mentor to death.
Sean M. Lannon, of East Greenwich, pleaded guilty Wednesday to first-degree murder, according to NJ Advance Media. He made the plea in exchange for a 35-year prison sentence, reduced from the 50 years prosecutors had previously been seeking.
Lannon admitted to bludgeoning Michael Dabkowski to death in East Greenwich in March 2021. He is also accused of killing his ex-wife and four other people in New Mexico.

He will also be ineligible for parole for 30 years, NJ Advance Media reported.

Officials say Lannon broke into Dabowski's home on March 8 and repeatedly struck him in the head with a hammer, killing him. Lannon said Dabkowski had sexually abused him as a child, when Dabowski was his Big Brothers Big Sisters mentor, the Mercury News reported last year.

Lannon has not been to trial for the multiple murder charges and other related crimes that New Mexico officials charged him with, court records show.
Jennifer Lannon, his ex-wife, had five children. An online fundraiser for the family raised more than $21,000.
Lannon was arrested in St. Louis, Missouri, on March 10, 2021. His sentencing is scheduled for December 21, NJ.com reported.
