NYT Bestselling author Eva Lesko Natiello, will speak at the Westfield Memorial Library about her new novel, The Dog Sitter. All are welcome to attend.
In this talk, Ms. Natiello will explore the popularity of novels about starting over and reinvention, and why they resonate so deeply with readers.
A New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, Ms. Natiello will host a lively conversation inspired by her new novel, The Dog Sitter. Set against the backdrop of New York City, the novel follows a woman whose life has gone sideways, leading to an unexpected dog-sitting job, surprising friendships, and the chance to redefine herself.
Through humor, emotional depth, and unforgettable characters—including one high maintenance dog—she explores why stories about reinvention continue to capture our hearts and linger long after the final page.Ms. Natiello's book has also been named to Publishers Weekly's BookLife Best Books of 2025.Register

Professional certified life coach Steph Koenig discusses how invisible labor quietly drains women’s energy—and what to do about it. Many women carry responsibilities that no one sees: the planning, remembering, anticipating, organizing, and emotional labor that keeps work and home running. While each task seems small on its own, together they create an invisible load that quietly erodes energy and leaves little room for the women themselves.
In this session, Ms. Koenig explores why overgiving becomes a default pattern, how guilt often fuels it, and what it looks like to contribute generously without carrying everything. According to Ms. Koenig, the audience will develop the ability to
identify the invisible work that consumes their energy and recognize the beliefs that keep overgiving in place; learn how to share responsibility more effectively and reduce guilt around asking for help.
