A 43-year-old Hillside man landed himself in a Pennsylvania jail after he pried open the window of a store and stole three Tastykakes.

A 43-year-old Hillside man landed himself in a Pennsylvania jail after he pried open the window of a Bethlehem grocery store and stole three Tastykakes worth $1.77.
Police said the man was standing in front of the store when they arrived to answer a burglary in progress call around 7 a.m. on Sunday, according to nj.com.

Surveillance cameras showed the man inside the shop after he forced his way through a small window using a screwdriver and stole the treats from a display case, police said.

He was charged with burglary, criminal trespassing, receiving stolen property, theft and possession of an instrument of crime and sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $20,000 bail, according to Lehigh Valley Live.
