Westfield Will Host Foodie Tour This Sunday (Socially Distant)

WESTFIELD, NJ — Two days after announcing a new plan for the "Open Quimby" weekendsin town, the Downtown Westfield organization revealed another initiative to help the community enjoy local businesses amid coronavirus: The "Downtown Westfield Foodie Stroll."

Fifteen local eateries will take part in the food tasting stroll on Sunday. Each participating restaurant is offering small-bite items with matching lower prices, in a pay-as-you-go format.

The establishments, with their offerings and prices, are listed below. Items range from tuna guacamole to "air fried ice cream with a crispy rrust."

"The menu has something for everyone, from adults to kids, so it will be a fun activity for the family or for friends," noted Downtown Westfield in a release. "There will be plenty of cold drinks, frozen treats, and even frozen cocktails on the menu."

Bob Zuckerman, Executive Director of Downtown Westfield, said, "It's a fun and safe way to spend the afternoon with family or friends while supporting our local businesses."
