Errands, Etc. Offers New Basketball Key Painting Service

The markings meet official NCAA guidelines.

Westwood-based entrepreneurs George and Diana Bedoya are offering a new service for their business, Starting today, the couple is adding professional basketball key-painting services to their repertoire.

According to George Bedoya, the NCAA-standard key is painted with the same paint used in parking lots with a sprayless air gun. They are also offering hopscotch, shuffleboard and four square painting services.

"These will last for years," Bedoya said.

Bedoya said he got the idea for the new service when his sister had a basketball key painted at her home. He was surprised at how expensive it was, and that there were no companies in the area that offered the service. Since Errands, Etc. had already established a customer base, Bedoya said it made sense to add the new service.

"It's nice knowing you can call someone in your community to get things done," George Bedoya said.

George said they already have several customers lined up. He expects the new service to be a hit with homeowners, certain businesses and schools. Diana said she expects the service will become more popular as the weather gets warmer.

"As long as the weather's nice, the kids are going to be outside," Diana Beoya said.

The new painting service is just one more notch in the Bedoyas' belt. Their other services at Errands, Etc. include a number of handy jobs, pet transportation, and, of course, running errands. In January, Errands, Etc. also added to their list of services.
