will give a presentation on Passaic County's 175th Anniversary
All are invited to attend; refreshments will be served.
The Senator John A. Girgenti Civic League was
established in 1990. The League does many
community activities including sponsoring two Little League baseball teams, a Christmas Toy Drive, and donations to various community organizations. Youth mentoring and special needs are a few areas where the Civic League makes a positive impact. The League holds meetings once a month and are open to everyone. Members are informed of current local and state events and are provided a forum to discuss their own concerns. Meetings also feature guest speakers; past speakers include Homeland Security Director Charles McKenna, Attorney General Paula Dow, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia Valdez, and others.
