"We're hoping to pull in people who haven't been to Westwood in a while," Callaghan said. "And make Westwood more of a destination again."

He said many of the retail stores will have extended hours during Restaurant Week to encourage visitors to eat, shop and stay in Westwood. He said the Chamber is trying to secure entertainment on the streets as well.

Participating restaurants will have a price fix menu of $20.11 during the event, which Callaghan said can be packaged whatever way the establishment desires. He said some places are doing a three course menu while others may be doing a light meal for two.

"Each restaurant has its own theme of how they're going to do it," Callaghan said.
