Police Seek Two in Theft of Wire from Westwood Business

are looking for two men who stole wires and cables from a borough business last week.

A Westwood officer responded to a business on Carver Avenue on March 16 at 7:53 a.m. after receiving a report of stolen property. A representative of the business said that the night before employees had put 1,200 feet of multipurpose conductor wire and 100 feet of control cable outside the doors of the garage area.

Video surveillance showed a man wearing dark clothing walked over and took the wires. The man was accompanied by another man driving a pickup truck.

The tapes were turned over to the detective bureau and the incident is still under investigation.
