Two Extricated After Car Strikes Pole

Two individuals were extricated from white Lincoln Town Car that struck a utility pole on Washington Avenue in Washington Township on Sunday afternoon, Township Fire Chief Chris Meier said.

Both victims were taken to the hospital, but their injuries were not life-threatening, Meier said.

The Washington Fire Department, Washington Police, and ambulances from Washington and Hillsdale responded to the accident. Police could not provide any further information on scene as the incident remained under investigation.
