Westvale Park Playground on Council Agenda Tuesday
The Westwood council meeting is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.

Members of the Westwood council are expected to discuss during the council meeting Tuesday night. According to the agenda, officials will talk about the playground options for the site, the available funds and projected expenses and the official opening of the park.
Also on the agenda is a follow-up to the library policy. Earlier this month, government to bring it to the required third of a mil funding formula for its participation in the Bergen County Cooperative Library System (BCCLS). The borough has been giving the library more money, but a new state law went into effect this year that says any amount of funding greater than the third of a mil number is included in the 2 percent state mandated cap, therefore penalizing municipalities that "overfund" their libraries.
Council members are expected to vote to introduce an ordinance providing a special emergency appropriation of $20,000 for a review of the borough's Master Plan.
