Westwood Summer Festival Saturday
Westwood Avenue will be shut down between Broadway and Kinderkamack Road for the fair

Downtown Westwood will be closed to cars and full of food, community organizations, sidewalk sales and other events Saturday as part of the annual .
The festival, which is organized by the Westwood Chamber of Commerce, will feature freshly-made food from local restaurants, medical screenings from Hackensack UMC and local doctors and performances from . There will also be face-painting, two bounce houses and free cotton candy, snow cones and popcorn. Money will be raised at the event for Live Strong and St. Jude's Hospital.
Local businesses will also be offering a variety of sidewalk sales and events during the festival.

will hold their annual "fastest slice" eating contest at noon. Owner John Sambogna said the event generally draws between 40 and 60 contestants, who compete in heats of eight. The winner will receive $50 and a trophy.
Also, Sirius XM Radio host and dog trainer Greg Kleva will be at Pets Unlimited to for pet owners, Hot Head Magic Steam Cleaners will be disinfecting children's car seats at the festival and Sogno Coffee House, which plans to open on Broadway, will be serving their coffee.

The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
