What Causes Hair Loss? Can Anything Be Done?

There are plenty of different causes but I’m going to be discussing the leading cause which represents about 90% of hair loss as well as the various treatments available. After reading this you’ll have a better understanding as to why there is presently no cure.

The word Alopecia means hair loss of which there are many types, but it's the inheritance of genes from either mom or dad’s side of the family which makes Androgen Alopecia the leading cause. Scientists are working against genetics and the aging male or female to find a cure…..no simple task. Since hair loss is not life threatening, you can see why it has not been at the top of the list for a cure.

There are many different treatments today to combat hair loss. They range from serums, professional scalp products, Rogaine, hair replacement systems, surgical procedures, and the latest of the bunch, Laser Hair Therapy.
