Woodbridge Man, 18, Failed To Stop For Police, Caused Crash: PD
A Fords teenager is accused of eluding police and causing a car accident Wednesday on Rt. 9 in Old Bridge, where two people were injured.
OLD BRIDGE, NJ — A teenager from Woodbridge is accused of eluding police and causing a car accident Wednesday in Old Bridge, where a woman and a 15-year-old were injured.
Gregory Kazdan, 18, of the Fords section of Woodbridge was charged with one count of eluding in the second degree and two counts of aggravated assault for causing bodily injury while eluding in the second degree.
Police say that at 3:35 p.m. Wednesday, Old Bridge police were attempting to pull over Kazdan while he was driving on the shoulder of Rt. 9 north, and passing other cars at a high rate of speed.

Kazdan, who was driving a 2019 white Mercedes Benz, did not stop, said the Middlesex County prosecutor, and instead ran a red light at the intersection of Rt. 9 north and Old Mill Road.
That's where he collided with a 2014 Ford Focus, driven by a 42-year old woman and her 15-year old passenger, said police.

Both were taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick for injuries they sustained in the crash.
