$6,000 Donated To Ramapo High School Relay For Life Fundraiser
The money will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Funds will be used to help support cancer victims and fund cancer research.

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. — More than $6,000 has already been donated to the Ramapo High School Relay for Life fundraiser and the event is more than three months away. The annual event will culminate in May, hopefully raising thousands of dollars for the American Cancer Society.
Relay for Life is a national event held at thousands of high schools throughout the United States. The student-led walks are typically held in May and June. Cancer survivors, their families and members of the community walk around high school tracks all day and night to raise money to help cancer victims and fund cancer research.
The Ramapo High School event is May 19; $6,017 has been donated to date. The goal is to raise $250,000.
