Bergen County Mobile Coronavirus Testing Returns This Month

County Executive Jim Tedesco announced the return of mobile testing, in partnership with Bergen New Bridge, on Facebook Tuesday.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco announced on Facebook Tuesday that mobile coronavirus testing would resume in September.

The county is again partnering with Bergen New Bridge Medical Center "with several enhancements."

Those enhancements include an expanded effort to test public school teachers and on-site flu shots at the mobile testing locations.

According to Tedsco, the program will "utilize a regional approach for testing locations."

Mobile COVID-19 testing for teachers, faculty and staff of county public schools will begin in mid-September and regional testing begins on Sept. 28.
