A former fugitive on the Bergen County sheriff’s Most Wanted list will be sentenced on Friday, according to a NorthJersey.com report.
Homer Bishop, 41, plead guilty to sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl seven years ago but then fled to his native Jamaica, the report states.
He worked in IT and even opened his own restaurant, Eatz Cafe, serving authentic Jamaican cuisine, the report says.

Bishop said that he fled so that he could earn money for his children before he turned himself in. He claims the anonymous tip that led to his arrest was his own idea, the report states.
He is facing decades in prison, according to the report.
