Doug Christie Presides Over Final Zoning Board Meeting as Chairman

Doug Christie finished his last meeting as chairman Thursday night at the board's final meeting of the year.

"It has been nothing but a privilege for me to serve on this board," he said.

Christie grew up in Wyckoff and has been a member of the Wyckoff Fire Department for 25 years, a member of the Zoning Board for 10 years and chairman of the board for the past two years.

He won a seat on the Township Committee in and will be joining the Committee in January. The township's reorganization meeting is scheduled for noon on Sunday, January 1.
