Crescent Avenue To Close For 7 Weeks Starting Monday

BREAKING: The road will be closed for repaving Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

WYCKOFF, NJ — Crescent Avenue will closed to traffic Monday for about seven weeks.

The roadway will be closed to upgrade the drainage system and repave the road from Lucas Lane to Frost Court, officials announced.

Crescent Avenue will be closed to traffic Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Aug. 18.

Crescent Avenue homeowners will be able to go to and from their residences from one end of the roadway or the other, but not both at the same time, officials said.

Work is not planned for the weekend or at night, unless an emergency occurs. Inclement weather may also extend the work.

A detour will be set up. Motorists should plan for extra time. The speed limit through the detour and on Crescent Avenue will be 25 miles per hour.

Garbage and recycling materials will still be collected while the road is closed. They must be placed at the curb before 6 a.m.

Parents driving their children to Lincoln School may access the school through Mason Avenue via Franklin Avenue.
