Expect Delays As Electrical Project Begins In Franklin Lakes

New electrical lines will be installed on Chippewa Trail, Vance Avenue and Devonshire Drive.

FRANKLIN LAKES, NJ — Orange & Rockland began installing new electrical equipment on Chippewa Trail, Vance Avenue and Devonshire Drive Wednesday.

Trenches are being dug the entire length of the streets. New cable will be installed on Chippewa Trail to four transformers. That work is expected to be completed by Friday.

Cable will be installed to seven transformers on Vance Avenue and Devonshire Drive. That work is expected to be completed Dec. 1.
