Franklin Lakes Officials Asking For Food Donations

Canned, non-perishable food items and supermarket gift cards are most needed.

FRANKLIN LAKES, NJ — Local officials are soliciting donations for the Center for Food Action.

Beginning Monday and until Nov. 30, non-perishable food donations can be dropped off at Borough Hall at 480 DeKorte Drive from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Among the most-needed items are: Supermarket gift cards, peanut butter, jelly, canned meats and tuna, pasta, rice, canned soups, spaghetti sauce, canned fruits and vegetables, diapers, baby formula, hygiene and personal care products.
