Here's Where The Wealthiest - And Poorest - People In N.J. Live, Reports Say
Ever wonder where the wealthiest - and poorest - people in New Jersey live? Here are lists of towns and an interactive map that show income.

If you're wondering where the wealthiest and poorest towns are in New Jersey, you don't need to look far.
Various reports show where, on average, the wealthiest - and poorest - people in New Jersey live. We have the lists of towns, and an interactive map (see below).
This past week, NJAdvanceMedia came out with a list of the 20 New Jersey towns with the highest median incomes, emphasizing how each of these towns show the state's great disparity in wealth. The list is based on U.S. Census statistics.
The highest median median income, for instance, is more than $200,000 a year, while the lowest is just over $25,000, according to the report. While the list shows mostly North Jersey towns, there are a few in the central and south - which also shows that the disparity is regional as well.

The NJAdvanceMedia report shows some changes - or it possibly disputes - a similar list that was published last year by OnlnYourState.com, a compiler of lists and comparative statistics - and a NJSpotlight interactive map that was published several years ago, also using U.S. Census statistics.
