Hospital Playroom Will Be Dedicated In Wyckoff Woman's Memory

WYCKOFF, N.J. — A children's room at Hackensack University Medical Center will be dedicated to a former township resident Thursday.

Elizabeth Fitzmaurice died in 2011. She lived most of her life in Wyckoff with her husband, James and two children, Zachary and Katherine. She asked that donations in her memory be made to the center's Joseph Sanzari Children's Hospital.

A play area at the hospital in Fitzmaurice's memory will be dedicated Thursday afternoon. Donations also helped fund the creation of a new therapist position at the children's hospital.
